Working to achieve full civil equality for the future of our children in the country

The movement was founded in April 2023, by mothers of soldiers past, present and future, out of a deep sense of anxiety for the future of the state and the fate of the IDF as the people's army, and following the promotion of a Basic Law exempting the ultra-Orthodox from conscription. The movement has enshrined on its banner the value of equality as the central value for which it fights, with an emphasis on equal service for all. The events of 7/10 proved to all of us that the State of Israel needs a strong and large army. The obligation to conscript and serve, which includes all sectors of the state, is moral, egalitarian-civic and above all, an existential necessity. We mothers say enough is enough! We will no longer accept discrimination between blood and blood or selective enforcement in conscription and state service. We are all citizens of the state, and therefore all its sons and daughters must enlist and serve the state and Israeli society! Without duties, there are no rights. Without full equality, we are racing towards a danger to the existence of our Zionist and liberal state, while while A decade when these two sectors will constitute 60% of the country's citizens. We have been working for a year and will continue to work for equal rights and obligations for all children of Israel, as well as for proper rights for those who fight for the security of the country, and risk their lives physically and mentally.

The mother army is not afraid of a long journey.

Intensive work to raise awareness of discrimination and selective enforcement in the various networks, a national bus campaign, conferences, home groups, lectures and meetings with parents and teenagers.

Disseminating knowledge and exposing inequality-breaking moves, legislation, and policies in order to bring about civil and security equality.

Leading legal proceedings against law enforcement, submitting a petition to the High Court of Motherhood demanding equal mobilization for all, and stopping illegal budgets for those who do not bear the burden according to the law.

Providing a legal response to the needs of soldiers in everything related to selective enforcement.

Public

Establishing a nationwide field mechanism, establishing and leading the coalition for equality, connecting all civil bodies and associations dealing with the issue into one body. Daily work of the movement's leaders, expanding awareness of discriminatory legislation through field activities such as demonstrations and speeches across the country. Activities to create a connecting dialogue with all sectors and for equality for all. Establishing contact with women and key people in the Haredi community, the Druze community, and more.

Political-State

We maintain a permanent lobby in the Knesset, with a regular presence on the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, the State Audit Committee, and the Youth Committee. Regular meetings with elected officials, legislators, and key figures from across the political spectrum, current and former heads of the defense establishment. We have actively worked to reduce harm to members of preparatory schools and those with years of service, initiated legislation on the rights of the wounded and their families. And we have created a front for action for civil and defense equality.

The foundation of our existence rests on a strong and united people's army.

We, the mothers on the front lines, are working for a united Greek society.
