We call on the Cabinet Secretary: Do not send ministers and members of Knesset who did not serve in the IDF and who support and promote conscientious objection - to represent the State of Israel at the Memorial Day ceremonies.
On a day when the people of Israel bow their heads and unite with the memory of the fallen, and bereaved families stand in front of the graves of their children – it is impossible for elected officials who did not serve in the IDF and who support or promote conscientious objection to represent the country; this is an insult and a disgrace.
Those who did not serve in the army, those who encourage refusal - they are not worthy of representing the memory of the fallen.
Sending such ministers and Knesset members to Memorial Day ceremonies is crossing a moral line and harming public trust, harming the bereaved families, and denigrating the memory of the fallen.
We demand:
Establish a clear procedure – anyone who did not serve in the IDF and supports conscientious objection will not represent the country on Memorial Day.
Join us on demand!
